SEAL Adventures – Listen, I am all for pushing boundaries and challenging yourself. It defines you, it changes you, it builds you. When you break your boundaries you learn a new definition of what drives you. Of “success”. That said, there is nothing right now that would persuade me to get my butt into some seal looking (s’cuze the pun) neoprene and dive into a swirling bait-ball.
For my mate BigNic, … he lives for it. … If it’s on your bucket list go check it out at http://www.sea-air-land.com/ Here are a few pics and a video to whet your appetite.

Inspiration comes in many forms, … this clip I received on email this morning. It is a pilot teazer for The African Attachment’s documentary entitled ‘Wandering Fever’. It is no way a final version and is available as a preview for investors and other interested parties. … Ryan Sandes. Power. (www.ryansandes.com)

I have been wondering just how far I can push this. What will my body tolerate? If this pushing yourself) is an “lackie-band” (elastic band) and you consider that I came from nothing but a couch, then 5km was an ask. 5km became 10, became 21, 42, half Ironman (Ironman 70.3), the full Ironman … when does it stop!?
The Otter trail was insane and every morning when I wake up my body has a new ache and a different throb. It isn’t the ABSA Cape Epic, it is however EPIC in its own right.
It is such a privilege to be here in this race. These organisers really know how to put this thing together. It is incredible. After a night in the rain, in a wet tent, tonight I am settling in to Portland Manor …
Chat tomorrow. 65km ride – 7km trail hopping. Here’s to never ending lackie-bands.
